How can i place your apartments?

  1. Go to the apartment lot, which you want to replace.

  2. Activate the cheat code “bb.moveobjects on”.

  3. Delete everything in the apartment and don’t forget the walls.

  4. Go to the gallery, search the apartment you want under rooms. (EA doesn’t allow to save apartments as a building so you find it always in the room category.)

  5. Place it! In the case the aparment have different foundations or floor levels the apartment is splitted in different rooms. I always numbering my apartments so you can easly place them step by step.

  6. Now you see that there is always a wall missing in rooms, usually above a door. This is so that it is counted as one large room and you do not have to place countless rooms. What you have to do now is close the walls and fix the paint.

  7. Now you are done and can start playing.

How do you place costom Windows in Apartemnts or Delete the default EA Windows?

I use the T.O.O.L.-mod by twisted mexi to replace the windows and doors. On the right hand side I have linked a tutortial to show you the detailed process.

How can your game look even better?

There are two options: You can install the HQ-mod or you change your graphicrules by your own. Here is a tutorial that helps you to change it.

How can I speed up my loading time?

Than you have a lot of CC you know its anoying than your game loads and loads and loads.

One helpful tip is just turn of the mods list at the startup. On the bottom of the Mods Windows is a little box with “Show at Starup” uncheck them and I am sure you will notice the difference than you launch your game the next time.

The other helpful tip is to put the game and all CC and mods on a external drive, what you only use for sims 4. The best is if you put it on an external SSD drive they working fast than a normal hard drive.

Do you have strange Shadows in Your Game?

Turn of the default shadow (SSAO) of the Sims4.

But how should you do this?

  • Open the folder where you installed your game. Im my case is it: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

  • Open the "GraphicsRules.sgr" with Notepad and replace "SsaoEnabled true" by "SsaoEnabled false" and save it.

  • That was the whole magic!
